Jean McLain is a Research Scientist in the University of Arizona Department of Environmental Science, and Assistant Dean of Faculty Advancement in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Jean manages a limited research program focused on establishing the human health and environmental risks of using recycled municipal wastewater for crop irrigation. Jean holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry from the University of Vermont, and a Master’s Degree in Forest Science from Yale University. She received her Ph.D. from Duke University in Microbial Ecology in 2002.
