The UA-Food Safety Consortium and ABS-PSM GIDP welcome you all to join us for our webinar titled “What’s up with Date labels on food? Is it still safe to eat?” on Tuesday, July 25th at 1:00 PM. Our speaker, Stephen Sturdivant, will go over how food date labels came to be, what they mean, how they impact food waste, and what can we do about it.
Stephen Sturdivant is an environmental engineer and Regional Coordinator for the United States Environmental Protection Agency Region 6’s Sustainable Management of Food Program. He has worked for the agency for over 16 years.
